Program Competencies (Associated)

1-To have theoretical and practical knowledge about basic concepts of International Relations, Political History, International Law and Political Science and objectives, functions based on these concepts with basic programme courses which deal with the elements affecting international system.KNOWLEDGE

1-Possess advanced level theoretical and practical knowledge supported by textbooks with updated information, practice equipments and other resources.

2-To analyze the problems emerging,in narrow sense at bilateral level and in a broad sense at regional and systematic level, between the states by the help of the theoritcal knowledge . SKILLS

1-Use of advanced theoretical and practical knowledge within the field.

2-Interpret and evaluate data, define and analyze problems, develop solutions based on research and proofs by using acquired advanced knowledge and skills within the field.

3-To anlyze the direciton of international relation and world system by means of political structures and paradigms, social, cultural and economic evolutions in the process of globalization.SKILLS

1-Use of advanced theoretical and practical knowledge within the field.

2-Interpret and evaluate data, define and analyze problems, develop solutions based on research and proofs by using acquired advanced knowledge and skills within the field.

4-To conduct an independent study at an advanced level on the issues related to International Relations.COMPETENCE-INDEPENDENT OPERATION RECEIVABLE COMPETENCE AND RESPONSIBILITY

1-Conduct studies at an advanced level in the field independently.

2-Take responsibility both as a team member and individually in order to solve unexpected complex problems faced within the implementations in the field.

3-Planning and managing activities towards the development of subordinates in the framework of a project.

5-To take initiative and responsibility, individually or as a group, to make analyses and to designate strategies in private or public institutions. COMPETENCE-INDEPENDENT OPERATION RECEIVABLE COMPETENCE AND RESPONSIBILITY

1-Conduct studies at an advanced level in the field independently.

2-Take responsibility both as a team member and individually in order to solve unexpected complex problems faced within the implementations in the field.

3-Planning and managing activities towards the development of subordinates in the framework of a project.

6-To evaluate critically the basic information and skills on international relations, to specify learning necessities and have the skills to put them into effect. COMPETENCE-COMMUNICATION AND SOCIAL COMPETENCE

1-Inform people and institutions, transfer ideas and solution proposals to problems in written and orally on issues in the field.

2- Share the ideas and solution proposals to problems on issues in the field with professionals and non-professionals by the support of qualitative and quantitative data.

3-Organize and implement project and activities for social environment with a sense of social responsibility.

4--Monitor the developments in the field and communicate with peers by using a foreign language at least at a level of European Language Portfolio B1 General Level.

5-Use informatics and communication technologies with at least a minimum level of European Computer Driving License Advanced Level software knowledge.

7-To comprehend the social, political, economic structure and the working principles and dynamism of international system; to develop life-long professional knowledge in order to be able to adapt and think critically. COMPETENCE-LEARNING COMPETENCY

1-Evaluate the knowledge and skills acquired at an advanced level in the field with a critical approach.

2-Determine learning needs and direct the learning.

3-Develop positive attitude towards lifelong learning.

8-To present solution proposals and anticipations by analyzing both bilateral relations of states , and the problems occurred at systematic level; to promote them with qualitative and quantitative data; to be sensitive to the social problems; to learn at least one foreign language for general communication; to use computer technology at required level. COMPETENCE-COMMUNICATION AND SOCIAL COMPETENCE
