Comprehends the concepts and the relations among these concepts related to his / her field depending on the competencies acquired in high school education.

Has the knowledge on the assessment of the nature, source, limits, accuracy, reliance and validity of the knowledge.

Discusses the methods related to the production of scientific knowledge.

Has the knowledge about its field’s education programs, teaching strategies, methods, and techniques and testing and evaluation.

Has the knowledge about the students’ development, learning characteristics and difficulties.

Knows the national and international cultures.

Knows authors of English literature from different periods, Lists cultural history of literature, uses for text analysis and adapts for language teaching.

Analyzes history of education from beginning to date.

Describes fundamental theory and approaches and different text types in translation. Translates texts from English to Turkish and Turkish to English.

Knows Atatürk’s principles.

Learns about components of language and language acquisition.

Knows and applies knowledge, method and techniques for teaching English to young learners.

Uses advanced information sources related with ELT.

Uses the advanced level sources related to his / her field.

Uses, analyzes and applies the theoretical and practical knowledge acquired in humanities in education and research.

Conceptualizes, examines, interprets and assesses the results of events and facts related to his / her field using scientific methods and techniques.

Describes, analyzes, proves, proclaims and develops research based solutions to the problems related to its field.

Applies the most appropriate teaching strategies, methods and techniques taking into consideration the learners development characteristics, individual differences, features and gains of its field.

Develops appropriate materials matching with the needs of the students and field of subject.

Evaluates the achievement of the learner using different methods from various perspectives.

Improves his/her foreign language skills (listening, reading, writing, speaking).

Improves his oral and written native language skills in advanced level.

Describes the relationship between foreign language teaching and other disciplines and evaluates new trends by combining them.

Acquires theoretical knowledge about creative drama, actively takes part in drama activities.
