1Within the context of the education apropos of concerned disciplines, to comment, evaluate and discuss different idea and theoretical approaches. 
2To have theorretical and historical competence in the discipline of social policy. To have information and to get idea about the subjects birth, development and current position of social policy, the role of trade unions, employment, the problem of unemployment, wage, the relationship between labour and capital, income distribution, social security, social exclusion, poverty, domicile. 
3To have information about current debates in social policy, to know concerned interantional organizations, to command historical information about labour history and social states. 
4To have core knowledge about labour economics and in this context about labour force mobility, labour supply and demand, unemployment definitions, wage and wage systems and productivity, vocational training guidance and vocational training, theoritical context and analyses of collective bargaining, trade union movement and its economical qualifications. 
5To have information about theoretical framework and actors of industrial relationship, different approaches to industrial relationship, history, checkout of institutional structue and current processes. 
6To have information about globalization processes and effects of this process on working life and welfare states, structures of multinational companies, transformation and current processes in working life, new management techniques, results and problems of globalisation process on social life, production systems and structures, labour relations history. 
7To have theorretical and practical information about human resources management. To have information about definition, importance, scope, objectives and functions, basic principles, transition process, personel management to human resources management and the differences between them, organization of this unit in companies, the basic principles of human resources management, human resources planning and the factors affecting the planning, recruitment and selection of information, performance, pricing career and educational planning.policy, the role of trade unions, employment, the problem of unemployment, wage, the relationship between labour and capital, income distribution, social security, social exclusion, poverty, domicile. 
8- To have a basic knowledge of sociology, in this context to know issues such as human behavior and social relations, the scientific method. 
9- To get the theoretical and conceptual information about the relationship between work and society. To get the knowledge of social class, social change processes, cahanges in labour processes. To have an idea about the future of industrial societies. 
10- To have a basic knowledge of social psychology. Accordingly, to have the knowledge of such as the method, attitude, behavior, and moral behavior, social influence, communication and group dynamics. 
11- Wage has an important place among the main topics of the department. In this context, to have knowledge of the conceptual framework about wage, various wage systems, wage-efficiency relationships and labor productivity. 
12- Employment and unemployment are also among the main areas of interest of this department. To have information and ideas about population, labor force, employment and unemployment, full employment, the employment volume, unemployment in different countries according to their level of development and the types of structures and the case of Turkey. 
13- To get the knowledge of institutional developments, behavioral science, adaptation of employees, motivation, business management, industrial democracy and participation within the scope of business psychology. 
14- Besides the basic knowledge of law such as Constitution, Law of Obligations, Labor Law, Collective Labour Law, Social Security Law and European Union Law to get knowledge of different areas of law and to get some of the practical. To solve problems in different areas with the knowledge of this law. 
15 - Because of knowledge about Law of Obligations, to take office in companies concerned this regulation areas of this branch of law.  
16- Because of knowledge and practical education about Labour Law and Collective Labour Law, to take office as consultant, expert and other titles in Human Resource Management or some other units in companies. In the same way, also to take office as consultant and expert to give information and to solve problems in employee-employer trade unions.  
17- To have information about individual labor law and in this regard, the subject and basic concepts of labour law, it’s place in the legal system, historical development, features and resources of this branch of law. 
18- To have information about collective labor law, the unions in terms of concept, definition and elements and collective bargaining.  
19- To be concious about and to have knowledge in environmental issues which is important for the realization of social positive externality of production and service areas. 
20- To get the knowledge about the transformation of Social, economic and governance processes in the process of which is Turkey’s European Union accession process continues,
