Evaluate the place and importance of women in society, women's health affecting socio-cultural factors by holistic nursing approach.

Gain knowledge and skills about development and protection of women's health.

Identify the health problems that the woman may encounter according to their life stages.

Know and explain the diagnosis and treatment methods in gynecology.

Describe reproductive cycle anomalies, benign gynecological diseases, gynecological cancers; specific nursing care using the role of practitioner, investigator, trainer and counselor.

Identify the care needs of the woman during menopause, acquire knowledge and skills in management of menopausal symptoms using educational and counseling roles.

Gain knowledge and skill about determination of family planning method suitable for the individual .

Gain knowledge and skills related to pregnancy, birth and postnatal period; give nursing care; explain the importance and benefits of mother's milk and breastfeeding in terms of mother-infant.
