The Aim of the course:
Skeletal material is an important tool to understand social and economical structure of ancient societies. The graves, which the bodies laid in, also give important clues of people’s believe system and how they behaved when they buried their dead accordingly. The aim of the course is to explain how we obtain this information through graves and their contents.
Course Content:
Learning human bones and their anatomical positions and interpretation of their in situ positions in grave will be discussed.
