consumption in different societis and affecting factors.

Course Content:

Definition of Ecology, Interaction between nutrition and
ecology,
Nutrition and food habits during prehistorical period,
changes happened in food habits and food consumption
during the historical and modern eras,
Explicate the factors affecting food habits,
Religions and related nutritional practices,
Turkish food culture and Cuisine and Regional
discrepancies, Food Culture and Cuisine in Far East Countries, Europe,
African countries, Arabic countries, India, USA, Canada,
Australia and aborijins.
