The Aim of the course:

To know students the definition of infection concepts and historical development and knowing the causes of the hospital-acquired infections and important the infection diseases, can take the necessary measures and be able to provide the appropriate nursing care, is intended to reflect the application knowing that infection control in the hospital

Course Content:

This course includes definition, epidemiology and history of infectious diseases, definition and methods of sterilization and disinfection, nursing care and prevention methods of important infectious agents, isolation methods, definition, history, types and nursing practices for the prevention of nosocomial infections and infection control practices in specific areas such as intensive care unit.
